Did you ever sort out those audio/video sync problems? Im tearing me hair
out here! (I do have a crap old computer, i hope that is the reason).
First i tried to upload a clip of my new 20 quid humbuckers, then an
acoustic version of I Want To See The bright lights Tonight (someone here
said they didnt play it in open G, my version is).

Both horribly out of sync. Did you have any luck fixing it?

No not really. Its at its worse if I record the file as a avi. and slightly
better if a wmv. As a wmv at least its in sync on my computer before I
uploaded it to Youtube but I also tried putting some titles on a couple of
the recordings in Windows Moviemaker and that messed it up again as well as
the sound deteriorating.
I did Google Youtube, video, sync, and found others had similar problems.
Apparently even if the sync is fine on your computer before you upload
Youtubes compression can mess things up.
Sorry not to be more helpful. Let me know if you crack the problem.

Thanks, Ian. In the end I gave up and removed the off-sync videos, too
frustrating. I re-recorded one of them using a phone-cam and had no lag
issues at all.

So, thats a dedicated digi vid camera to add to the list of required
purchases, alongside a new pc! I guess that means my GAS will be somewhat
restricted over the coming months....
