UKMG National PU. 15 November 2008. Buxton, Derbyshire.

Hi,

Its the fifteenth of a month, and we thought it would be nice to remind
the NG on a roughly monthly basis that the National has a web page with
all the info you need on it.

Right now, the song matrices are open for the super-keen. The
registration system is not being worked on yet, but will be available in
good time.

Importantly, the site has links to accommodation in the local area,
which you can book now, and information on the venue. Note that mean
costs will be lower this year as the venue is a lot cheaper and the
accommodation is more varied.

<http://www.ukmgnational.org.uk>

Obtain username and password by emailing me using the instructions in
this notice.

Thanks, everyone.

Nige.

I was concerned by the line The format this year is hopefully simpler
than the Telford 2007 event.
So we arrive, go to a bar, drink, go for a curry, go back to a hotel and
have a fight with the locals?

Heheheh. I mean simple in that we dont have to worry about block
booking a hotel, paying one million dollars for a function room, and
needing minibuses to travel to Toulouse for a curry.

Instead, we are smack in the centre of a major tourist town and apart
from the venue and the organisation of the curry/Thai, its every man
for himself.

I hope you appreciate all the hard work and effort that has gone into
ensuring that this National requires no hard work and effort :-)

If you really, really want a fight, then Stoke is not that far.

Nige.

Remember, that a man with a butt-ugly wife will always have an axe to
grind. Its his lot in life.

Having said that, it was a particularly good curry...

Mrs B is accompanying son Adam to an ice hockey tournament in June. I
declined to go along as the event is in Telford. I also steered her
firmly away from booking at the Park Hotel... backed up by the girls!

Seems like a good time to start a new petition on the government petition
website:
Abolish Telford

It was a very good curry. In fact, it was quite a good night out apart
from the very end!
