Thats an old AMP. Your right it was based on Selmer circuitry as the
guy behind Kelly, Flame, and a couple of other brands was ex Selmer.
Forget his first name, but his surname was Nolan. He went back to
Ireland in the early 70s as he sold more amps there, but then he seems
to have disappeared into obscurity unless someone knows better. I knew
him slightly (showing my age.)
If I recall correctly the piping is just squeezed between the ends of
the plywood sections of the amp case, so you may have a problem getting
piping inserted. If you dont want to do it yourself then you may
want to contact some of the specialist companies that supply vintage
gear and parts to see if they have any contacts to do it.
Personally I thought that the Kelly/Flame was a bit bassy and that was
the lead amp. (These were produced in Lead and Bass versions.) They
were ideal for disco, etc., however. those of my age know that in the
early to mid 60s there were more Selmer amps around in the smoke than
any others, though they were cheaper than others. The holy grail would
have been an AC30 and then of course the Marshall stack as they became
available.
