GUITAR BOARD

Hi UKMG - it must be over 8 years since I last accessed this
Newsgroup. After leaving a job where they didnt mind you accessing
newsgroups (very good for research you know) I lost the ability to
connect but I now discover there is a Web interface. Isnt technology
wonderful! Good to see some familiar names still there. Last set of
postings I saw was relating to the first Jam Track that group
members played over. Cant remember what the scheme was called tho?

Anyway, a question: I bought a 2nd hand Korean Strat copy to play with
wiring mods etc. One of the things I am doing is fitting a Seymour
Duncan SSL-1 in the bridge. From reading up on this it seems I may
need to wire it up in an opposite manner to the colour coding on the
stock PUPs to avoid it being out of phase?? how do I tell which way I
should wire it in? I have a digital multimeter bit nothing more
sophisticated. I want to avoid stringing the guitar up only to find I
need to take it to bits again and swap over the PUP wires.
