Hi guys,

I know a few people here used to use AVG antivirus.
The version I have 7.5 which no longer gets free updates as of today.

There doesnt seem to be a replacement free product from AVG, which is
fair enough.

Can anybody recommend a good alternative?

Should I just bite the bullet and pay for something?

Grisoft always phase out support for older versions quite quickly, which
is fair enough for an excellent piece of software thats free.

Its still free, you just have to fish around Grisofts site to find
the download. Its a substantial upgrade and now includes antispyware,
so its a complete replacement for 7.5.
