Hi all,
Thinking of getting a new acoustic soon, Ive got about Ł250 to spend so
Ill go second hand in the hope to get a better guitar, any ideas what I
might expect for the money?

You could get a brand new Cedar & Mahogany (the nicest sounding one) Simon
& Patrick SP6 for that.

A Seagull D6 or D6C maybe with fishman electrics if you are lucky.
You can pick up some nice Washburn, Yairi, Ibananez etc older acoustics
at this price - some will match Martins and Gibsons for sound and feel.
But you need to know exactly what to look for.

Or, of course, any one of a dozen different solid top Yamahas.

6 Months ago I bought a Yamaha DW9. This was Ł399. They had brilliant
reviews in magazines.

They now go for Ł289 :
