Yes, indeedy. I unwrapped mine this morning.

Im going to be working my way through the CD-ROM this weekend, and Im
looking forward to it. As I have said before, I love to read/hear about
peoples inventions. The history/biog section of any and every website
is the bit I enjoy the most.

What I hadnt anticipated was there was going to be so much
bonus educational material.

I am particularly looking forward to the section on PAT testing.

Not being a gigging musician myself, I know next to sod all about this.
However, I have been told in no uncertain terms by my wedding venue that
it is *my* responsibility to ensure that the musicians I have booked have
all had their equipment checked and certified. I have been stalling for
some months now on trawling the web for a site on my obligations.

With so much material here, I have to ask the question that I know has
been asked before. Why dont you put this on a website, Stewart?

Theres a common running question on the jazz guitar groups about the
reason that Polytone dont have one. Hmm. Im sensing a theme.

Many thanks for the CD-ROM, Stewart. This looks like its going to be a
fun weekend. :-)

Ok, its had the desired effect, and I am now suitably terrified.

Spoilt only by the fact that I cant seem to play any of the windows
media files.

Now I admit to knowing nothing about proprietary MS formats, but I am
confused as to why it keeps sending me to a web page politely accusing
me of digital piracy, and offered to allow me to migrate my licence.

This is clearly an advantage over mp3.

Do you want to download 400mB from an Internet site? A CD is the best
way of ensuring you have *all* at your disposal (78 minutes of music
too)... and it cost just 40p inc postage. For us, thats good value and
we still have 300mB of space to fill!

Send us your tips and funny stories and we could include them if useful!
How about songs youve recorded with one of our products?

This must be down to *your* system or set-up assuming you have Windows
XP or ME Media Players.

Thats a fair-sized assuming. Whats wrong with mp3 and mpeg?
