I find that the manufacturers tend not to fit top of the range pickups and
furniture to their cheaper models.
If I could get an Epi Les Paul with real Gibson pickups Id buy it, I
cant...
If I could get a Squier with US Fender pickups and switchgear and tuning
machines Id buy it, I cant...
Buying the items as aftermarket bits puts the price up around the same level
as buying the US made models, and believe me, there is a difference in the
noise the guitars make...
