On this evidence, youd be better off not being visible. I rather think
you owe us, or rather Paul, an explanation and apology.

And no, a winking smiley doesnt make it all right.

erm, Im not sure what your specific objection to this post is but if
its the swearing I find that rather hypocritical (At least he didnt
capitalise his:-)

I also feel that a winking smiley does make a very big difference in
this case.

Firstly the swearing was a quote (ironically from Paul).
I think the objection is calling someone ignorant in such strong terms -
had you just said ignorant and added the smiley, that would have worked,
but you didnt - hence the objections.

Maybe the fact that a respected UKMGer has been called a cunt for no
apparently good reason, for starters.

Ah, that was just one of Ricks many sig quotes.

Believe you me, it could have been a *lot* worse.

As for the caps, they will almost have certainly have appeared in the
original IRC dialogue quoted.

The esteemed Doctor Booth is nothing if not accurate and truthful.

If someone I know calls me a cunt for good reason - fine.

If someone I know calls me a cunt and winks - fine.

If someone I dont know calls me a cunt and winks - *not* fine.

Theres a BIG difference.

You know, just like in real life.

Steve.
