My old Laney Linebacker is the perfect sleaze amp - but...
Ive acquired a telecaster and Im not doing it justice by putting it
through the Laney and not getting the clean but fat sound that I want. Im
seriously considering a Fender Stage 100 (as I cant afford a Fender Twin!).
Anyone tried them? What do people think? Is Ł345.00 a good price for a new
one? Any alternatives I should be looking at?
This is what happens when you spend years with acoustics!

Can I suggest a Tech21 Trademark 60.?
Had one for Ł300 on E-Bay recently.
Excellent Fender sound and not heavy either...see their web site for sound
samples.
I use one with a Melancon Pro Artist (Strat-a-like) ...sounds great.
