I saw these strap locks on ebay the other day, and thought for the sake
of Ł2 including postage id give them a try.

Theyre excellent, just what I was after for my Les Paul, with stupid
strap buttons that are too shallow to fit a set of dunlop straplocks
onto.

These things are made of rubber and fit on all the guitars Ive got
(after trying one set I bought another 4 sets for my other guitars,
ibanez rg350, telecaster, strat, and jackson DKMG).

check them out:

Or buy bottles of Grolsch (and certain other Dutch/German beers) drink
the beer and then get the straplocks from under the bottle-tops for free!

Yeah, especially since checking things reveals what the seller bought
recently:

Oh, and where have I heard about using those as straplocks?

Hm, let me think; could it be here on UKMG?

Yes.

Fair play to the seller - hes obviously identified a niche in the
market and stands to make a profit.

I just wish Id thought of it first :-)

Ive made the infuriating discovery that certain brands are now gluing
the washer to the bottle top.

Am I the only one still using a Best Before 15 Dec 2003 bread bag clip?

More importantly, is this still cool? Its on a hand made acoustic...

Depends.
Is it an Original bread bag clip or is it one of the Custom Shop
re-issues?
