I remember Hawk jumbos - very popular around Liverpool in the mid-sixties.
Sort of low-to-mid-price (same bracket as Framus, Hoyer, Levin, etc).
Didnt know they were made by Framus, though.
Does it have a parallel, non-angled headstock (Fender-style) or an angled
headstock (Gibson-style)?
The Framus guitars all had Fender-type headstocks (albeit three - or six - a
side).

I think almost any guitar surviving from the mid-sixties will now fetch Ł300
if in good enough condition. A Hofner President Electric (not regarded as an
outstanding guitar at the time) will probably fetch Ł700 or more.
